Overview
Division 1 Judge case load includes:  Saline County Juvenile Court, Juvenile Drug Court, Criminal, Family Court, Probate, and some civil cases.

Criminal Court
Circuit Court Criminal Cases include all felony cases (i.e. burglary, drug charges, murder cases) as well as appeals from the Saline County District Court.

Criminal Plea and Arraignment for 1st Division is held on the 1st Monday of each month beginning at 8:30 a.m.  Additional hearings or trials are scheduled at various times on the trial calendar.

Family Court (Domestic Relations)
The Division 1 Judge handles 50% of all Divorces, Guardianship's, Child Custody and other related cases filed in Saline County.

How do I get a transcript?
Transcripts are $4.10 per page, which is set by state law.  The court reporter typically requires a deposit prior to ordering a transcript of a hearing/trial.    All transcript requests much be submitted in writing to the Judge’s court reporter, Amber White.  You may also mail a letter to 200 N. Main, Benton, AR  72015 or fax us at 501.303.5636.  Your request must include, the date of the hearing; the case name and number, and whether you are requesting a portion or the entire transcript.  After receiving the request, Ms. White will estimate the transcript cost for your deposit.  Transcription will not begin without payment.
