The Saline County Judge is partnering with Recycle Saline, the Saline County Sheriff, and Keep Arkansas Beautiful to help educate Saline County residents about litter and illegal dumping. The amount of litter and illegal dumping has increased and is really becoming a problem.

An anonymous Tip Line has been created just for people to call in and report if they see someone disposing of trash from their vehicle or happen to see an illegal dump sight.

There are many things that you can do to combat litter and illegal dumping problems here in Saline County, but the easiest way is to help set a good example for others by not littering or illegally dumping!

Here are some other ways that you can make a difference:

• Teach your friends, children, and grandchildren to not litter
• Cover truck beds when transporting trash or loose items
• Carry and use a litterbag in your vehicle
• Have trash service at your residence
• Report any sightings to the Tip Line
• Call the Recycle Saline office for more information about the Landfill Coupon Program
