Saline County 2017 Safety Award

Saline County was awarded with a safety award during a recent conference from the Association of Arkansas Counties Risk Management. This conference was the 49th annual conference of the AAC and was held in Little Rock.

The award is given if a county meets three main safety requirements; 1) Score at least 80% on the AAC's safety survey, 2) Have a loss ratio of less than 50%, 3)  Operating without being in the Arkansas Workers' Compensation Commission Rule 32 Hazard Program for the past 2 years.

The association completes physical inspections of county buildings and equipment and reads over notes from employee safety meetings.
