County Upgrades Outdoor Warning Siren System

Benton, AR – The Outdoor Warning Siren System in Saline County has undergone a recent upgrade by the Saline County Office of Emergency Management. In recent months, 23 of the county’s 46 sirens have been updated in order to be activated individually or in groups. The sirens that have been upgraded are located throughout the county in the far north, south and west sections of the county. All sirens located along the I-30 corridor around city limits will continue to be activated together in the event of an emergency when it may be unsafe to be outdoors.
