Saline County, Arkansas
The Saline County Regional Airport opened on March 12, 2007. It has a 5,002 foot runway, a full parallel taxiway, an ILS, apron tie-down space for 30 aircraft, three 12-bay T-Hangars, temporary terminal area, an updated fueling facility, space for corporate, private, and additional T-Hangar development, associated parking and an access road from Arkansas Highway 183.
In February, 2007, the Saline County Airport was moved to its present location at 1100 Hill Farm Road in Bryant, Arkansas. With the assistance of State and Federal grants the airport has become a fast-growing asset to the community. The airport has private hangars and leases T-Hangars. Inside the security fence there is self-service fuel available for aircraft as well as a pilot’s lounge. An ILS system and apron extension should be completed by December 1, 2009. The apron expansion will provide space for Commercial Hangars in the near future.
The third Thursday of each month, an airport meeting is held in the Saline County Courthouse, 200 N. Main Street in courtroom number three at 6:30 p.m.
