The Office of Emergency Management is the record keeper and assigner of all Saline County addressing of rural roads for Emergency Response.

The office is charged with the assignment of 9-1-1 addresses for new structures or mobile homes for rural Saline County and also the cities of Alexander, Bauxite, and Shannon Hills.

For an accurate 9-1-1 address to be assigned the property owner will need to provide specific property information, such as subdivision, phase, lot and block or a tax parcel number along with the type/outside description of structure needing addressed.  In addition to this, property owners full names, phone numbers and email addresses will be needed.  In certain other situations the recorded deed/buyer & seller contract and survey may be requested.

The name of the street and the location of the driveway for that structure/mobile home will be needed.  If there will be more than one structure on the property, coordinates in the Decimal Degrees (WGS84) will be needed to locate the site.

Structures assigned addresses are those with telephone service, water or other utilities and may include: Apartments, barns, commercial buildings, houses, mobile homes, pole sheds, poultry houses and storage buildings.
