Saline County Office of Emergency Management
Office of Emergency Management is responsible for providing resources for natural and man made emergency situations such as tornados, Flooding, and Hazardous Materials incidents. We deal with 10 Law Enforcement agencies and 24 Fire Departments in Saline County. We are the contact for the county on the storm shelter program which gives Saline County residence a rebate up to $1000.00 for installing a safe room or storm shelter at their residence. Our office has a NOAA weather radio program which will eventually offer every residence of Saline County the option to be issued a radio.
Saline County 911 services were established in 1987 for the benefit, health and welfare of county residents. The 911 Department serves as the vital link between the citizens and public safety agencies of the County. They strive to collect and disseminate all requests for service in a prompt, courteous, and efficient manner for all our citizens. Through their actions, they help save lives, protect property and assist the public in their time of need.
