The Arkansas Department of Health offers a variety of services in the Saline county area. There is also a $5.00 record maintenance fee for services performed unless otherwise indicated below. Those who are unable to pay will not be denied services.

WIC (Women, Infants, and Children)
|
|||||||||||||||||
|
Nutritional program is a special program that provides food vouchers for postpartum, pregnant and breast-feeding women, infants, and children under age five.
|

Nutritional consultation services are provided.
|
|||||||||||||||||
|
Applications for Family Planning Waiver, Birth Certificates, Motor Voter Registration, AR Kids First, Pregnant Women's Medicad can be picked up at front desk.
|
|||||||||||||||||
|
Tuberculosis screening, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up is now available.
|
|||||||||||||||||
|
Immunization services include immunization against diptheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio, measles, rubella, chicken pox, HIB, Hep B, and other vaccine - preventable diseases. Adult tetnus/diptheria, boosters, also tetanus/diptheria post injury must have written order from physician.

Family planning includes provision of medical care, counseling and contraceptive supplies to clients. Patients are charged on a sliding - fee scale or assisted with Family Planning Waiver Application.

Breast/cervical cancer screening, pap smear, and breast exam (referral for mammogram, done locally.)

HIV/STD services include diagnosis, referral, and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases.
Tuberculosis testing and treatment.
|
||
|
In Home Services include in-home nursing assistance for homebound individuals. Personal Care will send an aide to the home to help with personal hygiene and light chores. Hospice is to help the critically ill patient and family.
|
||
|
Environmental Health Protection includes food service inspection, sewage disposal, general sanitation, water quality, rabies control, and vector control. |
